Join us at our Skeptics in the Pub meeting for a friendly discussion of skepticism and similar topics. No agenda other than just a chance to gather and enjoy the company of like-minded skeptics!

Open Hearts Discussion Group – Coping Mechanisms, Sunday, April 27 at 7:00pm

This is an alcohol-free gathering to connect with others in a safe space in which to discuss personal life issues. During this get-together, we will share our experiences using various coping mechanisms in the face of adversity, and how they have worked for or against us. Examples include:

  • drugs/alcohol
  • exercise
  • deep breathing
  • prescription drugs
  • meditation
  • socializing

Over snacks and tea, we can support or find support with others during difficult times by sharing what we have learned through our own life experiences and secular readings.

All attendees should expect confidentiality, use of kind language, and respect of personal belief systems.
